initiates a discussion based on the theme of travel.
Teacher
asks questions like:

travelling?

Have visited any
tourists spot or any place of importance?

What was your
experience?

Did the travel give
you new insights?
Teacher gives an introduction about
the poet Joshua Fernandez. Teacher recites the poem twice aloud with correct,
rhyme and musicality. After asks the students to read the poem, discuss and
make a story. After the discussion and writing the story one student in each
group present the story in front of the class members. Teacher selects one
student from each group for analyzing the story.
Evaluating session: After the
presentation give time to evaluating and present their opinions and suggestions.
From this discussion student’s find the theme of the poem it is helpful to
them improve their LSRW skills.
Teacher helps the learner to understand the
meaning of the unfamiliar words.
Horoscope: a diagram of the heavens, the relative
position of plants and the signs of the zodiac, for use in calculating birth
for telling events in a person’s life etc.
Teacher
writes the meaning in a flash card and shows a picture of horoscope.
Students recite the poem with correct
stress and modulation.
Teacher asks some scaffold questions.

that he travels with his eye’s and
thought’s?

What does the poet
mean by “I travel with my pen”?
·
That something new,
would spring into my horoscope... what does the line mean?
Teacher
asks the learners to analyse the line “ I travel with my pen”
